Six years ago we began expanding our traditional retail store by selling online. One of the biggest challenges we faced was maintaining our "knowledge based" approach to customer service. When a customer visits a traditional retail store in person, the store employee is there to answer any and all questions. The customer service representative is also there to show the product features to the customer. It was imperative to our online success that we maintain this "connection" with our customers.
